AHS Display Garden of Jimmy Terrio near New Orleans, La.

This Terrio's seedling is a new direction in his hybridizing program as seen on this 2008 tour.

Here is a classic Terrio seedling in the R&R style - round and ruffled. It has the color, substance and ruffles that are strong in Jimmy's breeding program.

   The Garden of Tim and Carolyn Tassin
                       south of Baton Rouge, La.

Above is the lovely Tassin seedling that won the 2008 Emma Middlebrook Seedling Award competition. 


This new garden was the site of the Emma Middlebrooks Memorial seedling bed.

 

Tim Tassin's first introduction is
named H. "Hippie Crash Pad".

    The Crochet Daylily Garden

In The Crochet Daylily Garden, AHS President Kevin Walek (left) visited with Clarence Crochet, Past President of AHS, during the Regional Meeting in Baton Rouge in May 2008 while Joe Goudeau, RVP/Meeting Chairman looks on. Kevin enjoyed the garden in spite of the heat so early in the summer.

The main show beds in this AHS Display Garden south of Baton Rouge, were enjoyed by all the tour visitors. Pat Soileau seems to point out a special bloom perhaps to Ken Begnaud. Kay Shearer of Hot Springs enjoys the scene.

This Crochet seedling was much admired
for its' color and veining.

A favorite recent Crochet introduction is
H. 'Richfield Earlene Garber' named for close friend and past AHS president, Earlene Garber of New Iberia.
